Memories and sports go hand in hand. The greatest moments in sports are forever ingrained in our minds.
We often remember exactly where we were and what we were doing when that memorable moment occurred.
For a sports fan, memories can be personal:
- The first ballgame with Mom or Dad
- The first time we saw our childhood idol play in person.
The memories might also be universal:
- Reggie's 3 home runs against the Dodgers in the World Series
- Secretariat's record setting Belmont victory to capture the Triple Crown
- Ripken's 2131st consecutive game
- Laettner's buzzer beater to sink Kentucky
- Tiger's domination to win his first Masters
- Team USA defeating the Russians to win Hockey Gold
And, great memories are not limited to sports.
For many, seeing their favorite band or musician perform is a moment to die for.
Now, imagine if you were there; one of the lucky few to actually see the special
occasion unfold. Wow! And what's your most direct connection to the event?
The ticket, right? It is the ultimate souvenir from the event and is one of
the few items that can actually commemorate a historical or "milestone"

In hopes of providing a better solution for preserving event memories,
Section 1 is dedicated to helping fans "Live the Moment and Save the Memory."
Section 1 has launched the "StubShield"™ (Pat. Pend.).
The StubShield provides fans with a convenient and attractive means of storing,
protecting and displaying event tickets. StubShields are intended for those
who were actually there and lived the moment; each StubShield will have an
event-specific label, a unique serial number and will be sold at the event only.
In addition, StubShield.com offers a fun, interactive experience,
giving you free personal space to save your memories forever.
Here, you can create and view your own ticket archive, read the news story
from the event, view your own event diary, access your personal photos from
the event, share the memories with family and friends, and obtain custom
products to enhance your home or office display.

Section 1, LLC is a Southern California based company formed in 2003.
The founders share a lifelong passion for sports, especially the thrill of
attending a live event. The StubShield is the result of this enthusiasm as
well as the desire to offer other passionate fans a means of forever
remembering the event and the people with whom they "lived the moment."
